Last Sunday, November 27, 2011, we begun using the Third edition of the Roman Missal in the celebration of the Mass. What is most striking in the new responses is when the priest say “The Lord be with you” and we answer “and with your spirit.” instead of “and also with you” . This change involves growth in our relationship with God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The changes in the Roman Missal are intended to create a new translation based on the original Latin text. This change will bring unity in all the languages in the world. This will renew our faith in Christ and bring closer to God by focusing on these words during the sacrament of the Eucharist.
We also begun the season of advent which is a time to wait for the coming of Christ. And as we wait, we hope for the Lord to grant our petitions and His blessings.
